This
video emphasizes images that are known infant visual preferences
- bold patterns, colourful toys, and real world objects that
your baby may recognize. Some images teach prediction, and object
permanence. We suggest that you interact with your baby as you
watch Baby Einstein together. Point to objects and name them,
bounce your baby on your lap to the music, sounds and visuals.
Have fun and be creative.
Research
has shown that infants have a natural ability to distinguish
and assimilate the sounds of all languages, but that this
ability begins to fade as babies grow older. The audio component
of Baby Einstein was crafted to expose infants to a multitude
of phonemes (sound of human language) in a fun, baby friendly
way. According to research, repeated exposure to these sounds
will help form dedicated connections in the brain's auditory
cortex.

Mozart |

Baby Mozart
is a gentle, happy introduction to Wolfgang Mozart's music.
The video combines friendly musical arrangements with silly
sound effects to keep your baby focused and engaged. The video
uses only real world objects in the video scenes. It teaches
baby new words and develops concepts such as colour, size, scale
and "how many".
Research
suggests that a relationship exists between exposure to Mozart's
music and increases in spatial reasoning abilities and intelligence,
a phenomenon dubbed "The Mozart Effect". Listening to classical
music has been shown to affect health in positive ways by
increasing endorphin levels, boost the immune function, regulate
stress-related hormones, strengthen memory and improve co-ordination.

Shakespeare |

Baby Shakespeare
is an engaging exploration of vocabulary common to infants and
toddlers through the words of twelve master poets and the vision
of a master photographer. It combines the poetry with silly
puppet shows, humorous sounds effects, interesting real-world
visuals and the music of Beethoven to engage your baby in a
completely unique way.
Studies
in the field of language acquisition and development have
demonstrated that children learn to speak when they are spoken
to frequently, and in positive ways. "Parentese", the name
given to the sing-song way we speak to babies, has been shown
to help babies recognize the distinctive patterns of speech.
Teaching babies words in context and exposing them to the
rhythm of language through poetry and song are wonderfully
positive teaching strategies. Baby Shakespeare has been created
to provide an extension to what you already do as a part of
good parenting. Have fun interacting and laughing at the scenes
together.
